Colorado Unemployment Rules
Thirteen additional weeks of EUC benefits for US states that exceed 6 per cent unemployment are granted by Emergency Unemployment Compensation (EUC) legislation, which has a direct impact on Colorado unemployment rules. When establishing a state’s total rate of unemployment, an average taken over three months is used. At this time, the great state of Colorado does not qualify for these extras under the current rules. Those individuals who may be eligible for these advantages will be contacted by the Unemployment Insurance (UI) initiative once the average over three months goes above the 6 per cent mark.
With regards to method of payments, deposits made electronically into a genuine checking or savings account are offered by the UI program. After receipt of a 4-digit ID number, the claimant must visit the relevant page on the website to request the type of deposit desired. The Payment Selection webpage is available all day every day. Automatic deposits of benefits can be made by the Colorado Automated Payment Card, but only in the case of claimants not stating that direct deposits should be their payment method.
